INSTANT DEATH
RUN DOWN BY CAR. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 29. a single man, aged 66 years, residing in Kamo road, was struck by a motor-car driven by J. A. S. McKay towards Whangarci last evening, nad killed instantaneously. Two cars had just passed with dimmed lights, and as McKay switched on again he: saw a man immediately in front. He swerved the car sharply, but the man was struck by the wheel.
