(Received August 17, 7.45 p.m.) The Hungarian police have arrested a Czecho-Siovakian workman, who was employed at the Osebel munition factory, on- a charge of causing the explosion there. It is alleged that thia was due to ill-feeling betwen Czechoslovakia and Hungary in connection with the distribution of territory under the Peace Treaty. Troops at Wiesbaden, Germany, were called out after an incident in the suburb of Dotzheim, when British officers in a car were atoned and jeered. All the cafes in the district, and a fair that was being held nearby, were ordered to close. There were no arrests. • » • • A waterspout, sweeping in from Long Island Sound at Glencove, New York, caused extensive damage. Two men were killed, another is missing, and two were injured. (Received August 17. 7.45 p.m.') It is reported in Mexico City that tho Terminal Company, a British corporation, is preparing to file claims against the United States Government for several million dollars, on account of damages suffered by the American occupation of Vera Cruz in 1914.
