HEAVY RAIN EXPECTED (Dominion Meteorologist.) Present indications (4 p.m. yesterday) are for variable and strong winds, northerlies to westerlies ruling northward of East Cape and Kawhia and southerlies to northerlies elsewhere. Weather unsettled and cloudy; rain probable generally, and heavy in the northern and East Coast districts. Barometer unsteady, with a falling tendency. . D. C. BXTES.
