SUICIDE ABOARD NIAGARA
APOLOGY LEFT FOR CAPTAIN. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, August 16. A second-class passenger aboard the Niagara,. F. Dixon, committee suicide by shooting himself the nignt after the liner sailed from Vancouver. Dixin’s body was found on the boat deck with a bullet through the head. He had booked for Auckland, having very little luggage. His body was buried at sea. left a letter for the captain, apologising for his action.
