TEST CRICKETERS’ PAY
PROFESSIONALS RECEIVE £33. Australian and N 7 Cable Association LONDON, August 13. It is interesting to note that payments to professional Test match cricket players for England in three days’ matches are as follows: £33 to each professional; £22 to the twelfth man, £2O to each umpire, and £l7 to each scorer. Amateurs are allowed first-class rail fare and £2 a day for expenses. The Board of Control has decided that in the event of the final Test lasting more than three days the professionals shall be paid pro rata,
