What river is the best colour for a horse?—The Rhone. What is that which is cut down before it is cut up?—A tree. Why is si paper boy never cold?— Because selling papers maintains the circulation. Why is a poor singer like a counterfeiter?—Because he is an utterer of bad notes. What is the nnickest way to widen a road? —To add the letter B and make it broad. What tree fan we carry in the hand?—The palm. Whv is a wig like a lie?—Because it is n falsehood. What is the difference between a ben and a musician?—One lavs at pleasure, and the other plays at leisure.
