A GREAT RECEPTION. (Bv Telegraph—Special to “Times.”) AUCKLAND. July 24. Toti Dal Monte, the world famous coloratura soprano, was greeted at the Town Hall to-night with unbounded enthusiasm by a record audience. At the conclusion of her presentation of the “Mad Scene,” from “Lucia di Lammermoor,” the vast audience stood up en masse and cheered the singer again and again. The occasion proved the most memorable in the musical history of Auckland.
