THE MYSTIC EGG
For this mystifying trick you need throe glasses of water and one egg. When the egg is placed in one glass it will immediately sink ; in the other it will float; while in the third glass it will flopt half-way up. The secret is, one glass is filled with pure water, the second with salt water, am! the third is first half-filled with pure water, then through a long funnel salt water is poured in, pushing up the fresh water. As the egg is lighter than the salt water, hut heavier than fresh, it will accomplish all the feats described above. immmmimmimmiiimumimimiiiiiii
