Liverpool auction prices are:—Stunner 5s 3d to 8s 9d per ease; Statesman 6s to Ss 9d; Dougherty 6s 6d to 8s 6d. TALLOW. Spot market quiet. Present quotations are:—Mutton, fine 56s 6d per cwt, fair to good 43s 6d to 44s 6d, dark to dull 41s 6d to 42s Gd. Beef, sweet and/ or mixed 44s 6d to 4.5 s 6d; fair to good 42s 9d to 44s Gd; dark to dull 41s to 425. Mixed, fair to good 42s Gd to 43s 6d; dark to dull, 41s to 425. Gut, etc.. 37s to 41s 6d. HEMP. Manila sisal quiet but steady at last quotations. New Zealand quiet. Highpoints, July-Septemher shipments, J 236; fair, 10s value. WOOL.
