DEFENDANT CONVICTED Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, June 25. After further passages between conngel and the magistrate, Mr Poynton said that he had decided to hear the information. The case was proceeded with, the defendant being convicted. At the request of counsel tho fine was made £5 li to allow of qn appeal.
