WAR MEMORIAL CARILLON
NEW ZEALAND FIELD ARTILLERY BELL A strong feeling has been expressed among ex-members of the New Zealand Field Artillery, N.Z.E.F. that tho N.Z.F.A. shonld be speacially represented in the War Memorial Carillon, in common with other N.Z.E.F. units, by the gift of a bell in memory of members of the N.Z.F.A. who gave their lives for King and country in the Great War. It is felt that with the lapso of years the identity of the N.Z.F.A., which served in the Great War, is being rapidly forgotten, and that as bolls are imperishable the bed way of preserving that- identity and tho memory of the sacrifices of the unit is by presenting an N.Z.F.A. beil for inclusion in the Grand Carillon, which will be played on the anniversaries of tho big tattles in tho Great War. Acting upon general representations, Lieutenant-Colonel N. S. Falla. who commanded the 2nd N.Z.F.A. Brigade on the Western Front, has convened a meeting to consider the proposal.
