CHAMPION WOMAN PLAYER EASY VICTORY IN FINAL. LONDON, June 24. In the final of the women’s golf championship, Miss Cecil Leitch beat Mrs Garon 8 up and 7 to play. At the end of the morning round Miss Leitch was 9 up In the semi-finals the results were as follow:—Miss Cecil Leitch (Britain) beat Mile. Thion de la Chaume (France), 4 up and 3 to play; Mrs Gason (Britain) beat Mrs McNair (Britain), 2 up. Miss Charlotte Cecilia Leitch is 35 years old and has already held the ladies’ championship on a number of occasions.
