. Dear Fairiel, —When we went to an evening at the hall wo had a breakdown getting there, and we had to get out in the cold and frost. When the boys got out they found that there was a screw in the tyre, so they took the wheel off and put a new tube in the tyre, aud when we got there we were an hour late. Dad threw the ball down the big sandhill, and I ran down after it and I got a little way from the top when the ball slipped and I had to go down after it again, but the next time 1 did get it to the ton. When we got on top of a high hill wo could see some islands. Fairiel, I did like the birthday page.
