DIAMOND RING STOLEN
YOUTH ADMITS THEFT 1 POLICE COURT CHARGES. Law-offenders were dealt with be« fore Mr E. Page, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday as follow: Horace William Melville, aged 17 who admitted the theft of a diamonc and emerald ring valued at £2O, the property of John Andrew Kennedy was convicted and ordered to come up for sentence when called upor within twelve months. The ring wa? ordered to be returned to the owner Patrick Joseph Goron, seamar. c~ed 23, and Francis Raymond l*a? fireman, aged 35, convicted of figntm;: m Manners street, were each fined £l, in default three days’ imprisonment.
