USEFUL BEQUESTS
TO ORPHANAGES AND HOSPITAL Per Press Association. PALMERSTON NORTH, June 10. Tlie Hospital Board was advised today by the Public Trustee that it is the residuary legatee in tho estate of the late Mr James Kirbv, formerly a Palmerston North resident, who died in Wellington in March. Tlie assets in the estate, which is subject to the widow’s life interest, exceed £SOOO. The other bequests include £IOOO to the Jubilee Institute for the blind, Auckland, £IOOO to the Baptist Church orphanage at Manurewn, and £SOO each to the Methodist orphanages at Christchurch and Auckland. The amount coining to the Hospital Board is estimated at between £2500 and £3OOO.
