Even tho Bible is not above censorship, declares the Arab newspaper “El Ahead,'' in a story of French censoiship methods in Syria. Owing to tho lamentable state of affairs in Syria, the “El Ahrad” prepared as an editorial tlm First Chapter of Isaiah, containing the prophet’s bitter complaint over Judah’s rebellion, and the exhortation to repentance. The censor blotted out the lot.
