DR HERBERTS SERVICES
GRACEFUL RECOGNITION. Following the appointment of IX Herbert as consulting surgeon to Wellington Hospital by the board in recognition of his services to the hospital, Air C. H. Chapman considered it a graceful recognition of Dr Herbert’s services. Ho was not only a great doctor, but a great citizen, and was prominent in all matters of social welfare that came before the citizens from time to time. Not only had h?s prirate practice grown, but the calls upon his time had been so grent that lie had not been able to give the time to tlie hospital that he would have liked to have done. He wished there were more Dr Herberts in the community.
