FROZEN SWORDFISH?
NEW INDUSTRY FOR NEW ZEALAND AX INQUIRY FROM U.S.A. The visit of tlie American novelist to New Zealand in search of the big
game of North Auckland’s deep water appears to have had some effect upon the peojde of the Btat.es. An inquiry was received by tho Wellington Chamber of Commerce last evening as to whether arrangements could be made for the export of frozen swordfish from New Zealand. The letter provoked some amusement —and some facetious comemnts —from members. “Send it to the Auckland City Council,” suggested one (no doubt recalling Auckland’s disastrous* establishment of a municipal fish market), while another said: “Tin un some shark.” The letter was left with the secretn ry.
