MINERS’ STRIKE SETTLED
TENTATIVE AGREEMENT. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, May 25. The strike at Glennftan Colleries has beeu settled and the men are to resume this morning. Mi* 15.l 5 . Halley, Conciliation Commissioner, who presided at the meetings between the parties, stated that the agreement was only tentative, and a conference is to be arranged to adjust the differences in connection with tho "Waikato Coalfield Company.
