SIR FRANK HEATH’S REPORT
Yesterday the very full and interesting report of Sir Frank Heath on the development of the primary and secondary industries of New Zealand, and his recommendations to encourage scientific research and organise its application in this connection, was released. On page 11 of this morning’s “Times” appears a summary of the recommendations made, together with a statement by the Prime Minister on the subject. The Hon. Mr Coates states that the Government realises that the problem is one of common interest, *nd that the establishment of a department termed “the central organisation” is to be carried out. ’
