QUEEN’S THEATRE

“ZANDER THE GREAT.” Presenting a fresh and sparkling rflory, a cast of celebrated names, a plot with a unique twist, and Marion Davies in a modern role, “Zander the Great,’ 1 the new Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer production, is showing at the Queen’s Theatre this week. “Zander the Great” was adapted from the stage success by Salisbury Field, in which Alice Brady starred for almost two years on Broadway. It was directed by George Hill, and contains all the suspense and interest of the stage production, with scores of added thrills and delightfully refreshing situations. ■Marion Davies is given unusual opportunity to exercise her versatility in tho role of Mamie, a little orphan who is left with a motherless child to care for.
