Thousands of musicians who listened to tho great A'gyl nntl Sutherland Highlanders Band from the Exhibition in Wellington heard tunos that were familiar to them; and encores were frequent. It would not be out of place to say that no one will take exception to an encore to a' tune chat has been played for many years. It is an oft-produced melody that has a great deal to commend it; and that well and favourally known tuno is “Don’t pay rent” ; a melody that R. Leslie Jones, estate agent., of 101, Willis street, has been giving the public for many years. According to his special announcement in to-day’s “N.Z. Times,” he has something good to offer home-seekers.—Advt.
