Dear Fairiel, lam sending you the painting I promised you. I hope you like it. My Easter holidays I spent in Masterton. The weather is windy here, it is nearly always blowing. I have finished “Martoa ol‘ Old LondoK,*-' and 1 enjoyed it the whole way through. It was a lovely prize. Cricket is over now and we are playing football* on Saturday against another team. x 1 will try and do something for the Fairy Ring’s birthday. I have five duck*, two of which are pure white, while the other three are a browny grey. They are fairly tame, and will eat out of my hand; and are such a dear family to look after.
