LAD LOSES HIS LIFE.

Gordon Munro, aged 17 years, Pos Office cadet, was struck by an engin while crossing the railway line at th Ellerslie station to-night. Tlie lad re ceived a fractured skull and injuriei to the back, from which he succumbed shortly after admission to the hospital.
