OVER 170 MILES AN HOUR. Reuter’s Telegram LONDON, April 28. At P 'inline Sands. Mr J. Parry Thomas, in a car of his own design, improved yesterday’s records, covering one kilometre at the rate of 171 miles an hour, and a mile at the rate of 170.624 miles an hour.
