This will take place on Saturday. For to-morrow r 6 big event Kobara is a red-hot favourite, and Dillon Wilkes is his most serious opponent. Tennessee’s Child is an improving pacer, and one that will reach good company. There is a lot of .talk about Daphne Wildwood in the mile saddle event. Maiwhariti has been, working well. Real the Great and Elusive have improved since arriving in Christchurch. 1 Petcrwah has been responsible for some high-class work, and now that Mangoutu is back in C. Donald s stable she niav effect a surprise. Kutuku Jack is a likely Cup prospect next season, and over a mile Peter Bingen should move fast to pleasing music.
