The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cablegram from their London house, under date 28th instant: “Tallow.—We quote c.i.f. and e. values for the following descriptions of tallow : Fine mutton, 43s per cwt; good beef, 43s per cwt; mixed, 42s per cwt. “Dairy produce.—Butter: New Zealand, choicest 170 s to 172 s per cwt, very slow; Australian, 16fe per cwt; Danish, 176 s per cwt. Cheese, 92s to 94s per cwt; market quiet.” LONDON TALLOW MARKET The Bank of New Zealand, produce department, has received the following advice from its London oifioe, under date 28th instant“ Tallow : There is a fair demand. RABBITSKIN SALE Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co.» Ltd., advise having received the following report from, their Dunedin office in regard to the rabbitskin sale held there on the 27th instant:— We report an exceptionally keen sale, prices being considerably in excess of those paid in Wellington last week. Late autumns and incomings advanced Sd to 6d per lb, and other sorts 2d per lb. Incomings lealised £6 to £6 5s per 100, and late autumns £5.
