D. Low. At the annual meeting of the parishioners of St. Luke’s Church, Greytown, officers wero appointed as follows: Vicar's churchwarden, Mr I. Blissett; people’s churchwarden. Mr A. Day; vestry, Airs A. B. Balfour, Miss Oates, Messrs A. H. York, W. Davis, H. Trot man, L. Mac Lean, E. Collier. W. H. Day, A. T,. Campbell. W. Tully; treasurer. Mr A. K. Campbell; auditor,Mr H. Walden. The final of the Masterton Tennis (Tub’s singles championship has been won hv N. Miller, who defeated E. M. Hodder, 6—o. 4—6-. 6—4. 6—3. A meeting called to consider the revival of the game of hockey in Greytown lapsed owing to the meagre attendance.
