DEDICATION SERVICE
PROCEEDING AT WESTPORT. Per Press Association. WESTPORT, April 26. The Anzac Day service was conducted in the Theatre Royal this afternoon by the Ministers’ Association. The Mayor, Mr John Menzies, presided, and anf impressive address was given by the Rev. O. Bennett, Methodist minister. Returned soldiers, territorials, cadets, a firing party and Technical School pupils attended. Subsequently there was a procession to the memorial gates at the entrance to Victoria square, where a dedication service was held. Many wreaths were laid at the entrance to the gates and on the South African memorial, inside the square.
