ONE POINTS GUN AT ANOTHER OFFENDER CONVICTED 'AND '~ FINED. Per Press Association. THAMES, April 16. A dispute between fishermen came to a head, in the court yesterday, when Joseph Senior was charged with point, ing a gun "at two other fishermen, Mc.Kinnon. and Rolton. The incident occurred on a stretch of the Waihou river known as “Duck Creek,” in which flounders were, caught. There was apparently bad blood between the larties, and Senior alleged that McKinnon’s boat came too close to allow him to fish properly. Witnesses dif-* fered considerably as to what happened, but Senior was convicted and fined £o and costs.
