PRIMARY SCHOOLS’ ASSOCIATION The annual meeting of the Wellington Primary Schools’ was held in the Eduction -Spate room on Thursday afternoon, Mr 0, H. lerguson presiding. The annual report, presented by Mr; A A. Kirk, hon> secretary, showed that splendid progress had been made during the past season. The bolding of the tournament in Wellington proved a great success, and it was again decided by a conference of delegates present from the various centres in New Zealand that, Wellington should again be the ,venue. Election of officers for the coming year resulted; —President, Mr S. Hi Ferguson; vice-presidents, Messrs C. Webb, T. W. Bowman, W. Bennett, and B. A. Mabin; hon. secretary-and treasurer, Mf F. W. Smyth; management committee, Messrs A. A. Kirk, W. Bennett, —. Gumming, and Bro. Bernardine; delegate to Wellington Football Association. Mr S. H. Ferguson. ... It was decided that the competitions be the same as laßt year, namely: Senior A, senior B, junior A, and junior B grades. Matches will commence next Thursday, April 22nd, in all grades. Teams wete entered from the following schools: —Lyall Bay (2), Mframar (4), Marist (N.) (4), Marist (T) (4), Worser Bay (2), Hataitai (2), lvilbirnie (2), Seatoun (2), Wadestown (2), Newtown (2), Ngaio (2), PoriruaPlimmerton (2). It is most likely that the Eastern Hutt School will enter teams. These entries are a decided increase on last year. The A grade in the senior competition will comprise six teams, the senior B grade six teams; and .ten teams will be in each of the junior A and B grades. The question of representative fixtures for the season was gone into,, and, in addition to the tournament to b 3 again held in Wellington, it was decided to send teams to Otago and Canterbury.
