NATIVE CHIEF DEAD
Per Press Association. TAUMARUNUI, April 15. The death is announced of the Maori chief, Ngatai Tcmamaku, aged 50 years. Ho was grandson of the chief Tapine Temamaku, who was at one time paramount chief of the Upper Wanganui. Deceased belonged to the Ngatihauaoa tribe.
