THEATRE DE LUXE

BUSTER KEATON IN “THE NAVIGATOR.” Onthe sea and beneath it went Buster Keaton in search of laughs for his latest feature comedy, “The Navigator, a Metro-Goldwyn production, which will bo presented at the Theatro De Luxe to-night. He took with him a girl and an ocean liner, and six thousand feet of film could scarcely hold all the smiles, chuckles, giggles and roars he netted. The story is of a girl and a bov adrift in a liner at sea. They are tho only persons on board, until after many weird and wonderful adventures, the ship grounds on. a cannibal isle. It is then that Buster goes overboard in a diving suit and rescues the girl, who was taken off the ship when the na, tives swarmed aboard. How they get out of the clutches of the cannibals .s a scream.

Wave upon wave of joy will come to the patrons when they see Buster Keaton handling the crewless ship as it frolics over the laughing seas. He doesn’t know a binnacle from a barnacle, and when the ship springs a leak it’s a case of “get out and get under!” But watch him rescue the girl from the clutches of cannibals! There will he an excellent supporting bill and a specially arranged musical programme by Mr L. D. Austin’s orchestra.
