CHOCOLATES FOR THE WINNERS. It is difficult to secure admittance to the “Roll Down” at 101, Manners street, owing to the largo number of people who are attending to try their luck at this popular game. The people here appear to get as much pleasure out of winning the huge boxes of chocolates as do the vast crowds at the Dunedin Exhibition. Chocolate avenue, as the amusement park at the- Exhibition ft now known, is famous throughout New Zen land for its monster boxes of chocolates, nnd Mr Carter is now giving the people of Wellington a-n opportunity to piny this popular game. Tho gam© itself is simple—or looks simple. The player rolls three halls clown a table into little numbered holes. The player with the highest score is the proud winner cf a box of chocolates wliich taxes his or her strength to carry home.
