DISTRESS SIGNALS
LAUNCH MOLLY BREAKS DOWN IN KAIWARRA BIGHT. Shortly before 5. o’clock last night news was received on the waterfront that some vessel, which could not be discerned in the Tain, was sending up flares of distress. The harbourmaster' immediately sent out the pilot launch ArahiUe to investigate. It found the launoh Molly, which had broken down, with two men on board. The launch was towed to the wharf, and its occupants landed, none the worse for their experience.
