Donald ' Jos’ph McQalman; for similar breaches'. when approaching the Hutt road level crossing,, waa fined £5 and costs. WITHOUT A LICENSE. Joseph, ’"A loysius Clarke. Writers, found on licensed premises after hours, was; convicted and fined £2. , • Charles Ermcis Bell. Inrman of the Thistle Inn Hotel, on a charge of supplving liquor after hours, Was fined £5. V Charged with «blHn- liouor after Kohrs, .Tohannh Ober>. the licensee of the hotel, was convicted and also fined £SL Mr H. F. O’Leery. on behalf of this, defence, reonested that the penalties he increased lw one shilling each in order to allow cf an appeal should that course be decid"d on.
