WELL-KNOWN BOWLER
KILLED IN MOTOR SMASH RECENT AUCKLAND ACCIDENT. Per Press Association. , , AUCKLAND. March 26. The victims of the Anzac avenue accident were returning* from a bowling tournament match between the retail and wholesale drapery firms of the province, held on the Auckland Club’s green. Mr Dickinson was still unconscious this morning. Mr Jackson is making good progress. Mr Wilson, who was killed, was a well-known resident of Hamilton, find was 54 years ago. He ( was a son of the late Adam Wilson, of 1 Wilson. /Williams, and McCullagh, a firm of drapers in Auckland in the early days. He was a prominent athlete, and attained some success as a runner. Later he was'connected with the firm of Adair and Co.. Napier, and he entered into business as a mercer at Hamilton twenty years ago. He frequently represented the Hamilton. Bowling Club at provincial and Dominion tournaments. Be leaves a widow and three children, the eldest 19, and the youngest 15 years of age.
