MATATUA LEAVES COLON. Homeward bound, the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have been advised that the steamer Matatua left Colon on March 19th for London. The vessel loaded in New Zealand and sailed from Bluff on February 23rd. KIA ORA REPORTED. The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company have been advised that the steamer Kia Ora, which loaded in New Zealand and i sailed from Wellington on February , 27th for London, continued her voyage from Colon on March 22nd. NOTICE "TO MARINERS. The Marine Department advises that during daytime th© dredger Mawhera will be operating off the lower end of I the Crane wharf, and will work in the | direction upstream. Between sunset and sunrise the dredger will be moored alongside the Crane wharf, and will exhibit, from her outside quarter and bow respectively, one all-round white light. A red will be shown from th© dredger, during dredging operations, indicating which side of the dredge vessels inward bound are to pass. Vessels must not pass between the dredger and the wharves unless instructed to do so by the harbourmaster. Cdre should be taken to avoid fouling the dredger moorings, and vessels at nil times when passing the dredger must do so at reduced speed. MANUKA FROM MELBOURNE. The Union Company advise that the passenger steamer Manuka, from Melbourne, arrived at Bluff at noon yesterday. and leaves at 5 p.m. to-day for Dunedin, Lyttelton, nnd Wellington. She is due here on Sunday, and sails ngain on Monday for Melbourne. SURREY SAILS TO-MORROW. The Federal S.N. Company advise that the steamer Surrey will complete her loading at Wellington this evening and sail at daybreak to-morrow for West of England ports, via Panama. TURAKINA DELAYED. Owing to a heavy gale raging nt New Plymouth, the steamer Turakina, which is loading under the agency of the Federal S.N'. Company, is unable to leave for Timaru to continue her loading.

COASTAL MOVEMENTS. The Canadian Challenger left Timaru last evening for Dunedin. The Breeze leaves Wellington to-day for Lyttelton and Timaru. The Gale sails from her© to-day for Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Timaru. The Calm, from Bluff and way ports, is due at Wellington to-day, ana leaves later in the day for Picton and Wanganui.

The Kohi, sailing to-day for Havelock returns to Wellington on Saturday.

The Storm arrives at Wellington on Saturday from Bluff, via way ports, and sails the same day for Wanganui. The Fairburn leaves Wellington today for Karamea and Westport. The Inkula arrived at Timaru yesterday from Lyttelton, and leaves to-day for Dunedin.

The Port Victor has been delayed at Lyttelton bv bad weather, and now sails to-morrow for Dunedin. The Echo, sailing to-day for Blenheim, returns to Wellington on Saturday. The Cygnet, due at Wellington today from Kaikoura, leaves later in the dnv on the return trip. The Kennedy leaves to-day for Foxton, and is due back at Wellington on Saturday.

The Wairau. due here to-morrow from Blenheim, sails on the return trip the same day.

The Opawa is due at Wellington tomorrow from Blenheim, and leaves on Saturday on tlie return trip. The Schouwen is due at New Plymouth to-day from Dunedin.

The Argyllshire has been delayed at Wanganui by bnd weather, and now leaves to-day for Tirfinru. The Tasmania left Gisborne last evening for Napior to continue her loading. The Kaimai. with cargo for Miramar and Wellington, is due here to-morrow from Greymouth.

The Kaimannwa, leaving Portland today for Wellington, arrives her© on Sunday, and sails on Monday for Lyttelton.

Tlie Kartigi now clears Wellington today for Lyttelton to complete discharge. The Kauri is expected hero to-morrow from Newcastle.

The Komata sailed last evening for Westport, and returns to Wellington on Sunday.
