PARAMOUNT THEATRE
Commencing to-morrow at the Paramount Theatre is “The Coast of Folly,” starring the beautiful Gloria Swanson. This film created a great deal of comment in America when it was first produced there, it is sure of a good run here. The picture tells of the romance of Joyce Gathway which was threatened by the schemes of another woman. If scnndal should be made about her she would lose her fortune, and now that a scandal seemed eminent she was about to lose her lover also. No one believed in the innocence of Joyce, because her mother had been notorious. The mother long thought dead comes to the rescue of her daughter and saves the situation at the expense of her own happiness. There will be a good supporting bill, including a Gaumont Graphic, a scenic and a comedy. A specially selected muical programme.has been arranged.
