FIRE IN THEATRE
OBLIVIOUS AUDIENCE Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Received March 14, 5.5 p.m.) VIENNA, March 12. A wireless announcement to the effect that the Apollo Theatre was afire sent the relatives and friends of members of the audience hurrying to the scene. On arrival they found that the fire had spread to the adjoining hotel. Firemen fought the flames for an hour.
Meanwhile the audience enjoyed the performance below, unconscious of their danger.
