FIRE AT HAPPY VALLEY

HOUSE TOTALLY DESTROYED BRIGADE SHORT OF, WATER. At 10.16 on Saturday evening th# fire brigade reoeived a call to Happy Valley road, Ohiro Bay, where an outbreak of fire had occurred in a wood and iron one-story dwelling owned and occupied by Charles Henry Tucker. The cause of the firs is unknown, and the building and contents were totally destro^d. As the result of the flames spreading, a wood and iron four-roomed one-story dwelling adjoining, owned and occupied by Arthur David Benge, almost suffered severe damage, the south side of the house being badly scorched At the present time the insurances on both buildings are not available. . On account of the. water shortage, the services of tho brigade were severely handicapped.
