AUCKLAND WANTS ROSE. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 10. At a meeting of the executive of the Auckland Centro of the Amateur Athletic Association, a telegram from Wellington was read stating that Rose would not compete in Auckland next Saturday. . The chairman said the Wellington Centre had not shown good faith in sending Rose south, and it was decided to notify the council of the Auckland Centre’s dissatisfaction with the arrangements.
