There is nn old saying that opportunity makes the man. Well, if what is published an the back page in to-day’s “New Zealand Times”, by R. Leslie Jones in regard to a special snip in farms is any criterion, well lie is certainly lucky in getting special authority to see the farm mentioned in the advertisement. Apart altogether from the general details of the farm, the suggestion is made that a syndicate should purchase this farm of 210 acres and subdivide it into weekend allotments for those fond of motoring or trout fishing. Wellington, goodness knows, can do with some good week-end propositions of the kind under review; and it would without doubt pay some enterprising gentleman or gentlemen to take this matter up smartly.—Advt.
