KARORI SCHOOL

ANNUAL PICNIC Tho Karori School picnic was held o* Friday, <the sth Instant, at Seatoun Park, under ideal weather conditions. Some 400 children were present, in addition to which parents were well represented. During the day an extensive sports programme was carried out. At the conclusion of the sports jpTonmnie the prizes were presented to successful competitors by Mrs G Gapes. The committee s thanks are due to those parents nnd friends who responded to the committee's appeal lor picnic funds; also to the traffic department of the city tramways, which at very short notice made such satisfactory transport arrangements.
