GIRL DANCER ARRESTED ON INCRIMINATING LETTER, Australian and N(tab's Association, PARIS, January 27. A pretty girl dancer, Andree Lefevre, ha 9 beea arrested in connection with the spying charges against Englishmen. A search through a packet of papers addressed “T. L. Leather,” at the English Bank, Paris, resulted in the discovery of a letter sending the girl 1850 francs in return for certain information regarding warships at Brest. , The girl got her information from young naval officers. Last month in Paris an artist’s nodel Marcello Morciul, created a sensation by confessing to espionage in the interest of a certain foreign Power, afterwards found apparently to bo England. Three Englishmen were arrested, but were released later. There appeared to be no foundation to the story.
