Considerable discussion takes place amongst rent payers as to the seriousness of and the difficulty in obtaining houses to “rent.” Practically every rent payer will admit the folly of paying rent, when for usually (less outgoings one can purchase a home, providing the necessary deposit is available. However, there is no doubt the person who buys his own home is the happier thereby. It does seem rather ridiculous to pay away every week or month pounds and pounds, and all you have for the trouble is a bundle of rent receipts. All rent payers should read the special descriptive announcement which appears on the hack page in to-dnv’s "Now Zealand Times,” inserted by R. Leslie Jones, 101, Willis street.—Advt.
