The second wool sale of the Dunedin series was commenced to-night, when nearly 8000 bales out of a catalogue of 22;028 bales were offered. The bidding, except occasionally,, was not so keen ns at the December sale". So far, super half-breds, tliree-quarter-breds, and crossbreds, suitable for America, wore from $d to a Id per pound dearer than at the last sale. On the other hand, medium and low halfbreds were from Id to lid per pound lower. Medium and low tliree-quarter-breds and crossbreds were from par to Id per pmhid lower. Merinos were most orratic. Super sorts were neglected, and only one lot brought a satisfactory price. Merinos suitable for scouring were much more keenly sought after, and were making within Id per pound at last sale’s prices, hut supers generally were 2d to 4d lower.
