MIRAMAR CARNIVAL

MANY ATTRACTIONS. The spirit of carnival reigns supreme at Miramar, where the Queen Carnival celebrations are in full, swing. Owing to an unfortunate happening the harriers did not run last night. There are all kinds of attractions to cater for the pleasures of the orowds of people, who attend the carnival each night. There are Aunt Sallys, darts, a merry-go-round, an ocean wave, tea stalls, and a good dancing floor. The Miramar band is in attendance. To-night the Y.M.C.A. gymnasts, under Captain Duffy, intend giving a spectacular display. Concert parties are being arranged for nightly. The committee is composed of the following:—Messrs It. J. * Weir (chairman), H. Davies (hon. secretary), H. Bristow, *W. G. Bennett, N. Gray, J. G. Newton, J. H. Newton, G. Minifie, J. Love. E. Sergeant, W. Sellars, W. Dean, A. Legge, J. Davis,. P.
