WOMAN ASSAULTED
YOUNG MAN CHARGED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, January 28. In tiie Police Court, Nathan Morris (23), was charged with committing rape on a woman, aged 74. In asking for a remand until January 28th, Senior-Detective Hammond said the case was most unusual. Morris was a steward on the American freighter, West Henshaw, while the victim was an old lady in the last stages of senile decay. A remand was granted, but bail was not allowed.
