BONES OF TWO SAINTS
FOUND IN ORKNEY ISLAND MURDER TRADITION UPHELD. Reuter’s Telegram. LONDON, January 24. After'Boo years it has been definitely ascertained that the human skeletons found in Kirkwall Cathedral, Orkney, are the remains of the Saints Magnus and his nephew Rognvald, who founded the church in fulfilment of a vow to erect a' minster suitable to receive his sainted uncle’s relics. It is noteworthy that in the back of the skull which is believed to bo Magnus's is a, long bole compatible with the historical fact that Magnus was murdered by a. blow on the head with a sharp instrument.
